Images of the upcoming Motorola Moto Z Play leaked online by a reddit user who posted 2 images of the back of the Moto Z Play. There are some unconfirmed news that the new Motorola smartphone has already passed through TENNA in China. It is required by every smartphone to get clearance certificate from TENNA to be released in China.
The images show the device in both white and black color. From the shine of the back casing, it looks like a plastic build which could indicate that the new Moto Z Play is a mid-ranged smartphone rather than a high-end one as the high-end smartphones tend to have metal chassis at the back. However, the device does look pretty good and is built differently. The camera placement at the back is very unique just like the Moto Z and Moto Z Force, few people may even find it odd but it compliments the design of the smartphone. On the front, there’s a square button at the bottom centre which suggests the phone might support fingerprint sensor.
One last thing to note is the connector dots at the back of the smartphone. This could mean that Moto Z Play might support Moto mod accessories. Motorola is pushing towards modular smartphone concept by introducing Moto mod accessories that adds a new feature to your smartphone by simply connecting with the phone via these connectors.
For people who haven’t heard about the rumored specs of the Moto Z Play – it’s rumored to have 5.5 inch AMOLED display with 1080p resolution, 2GHz octa-core processor, 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage along with 3,150mAh battery. In the camera department, it’s expected to feature 16MP rear camera and 5MP front camera.
