Last month, we guessed that Nokia might be working on its return to the smartphone industry by introducing an Android based Nokia smartphone. But now, it looks like our guess is correct. According to a high ranking Nokia executive in China, Nokia will be coming back into the mobile market by introducing Nokia Android smartphones and Nokia Android tablets by the end of Q4, 2016.
The senior Nokia executive, Mike Wang, who is the president of the join management team of Nokia China has allegedly revealed the plans of Nokia’s comeback to the Chinese media. Some earlier reports suggested that Nokia is working on two Nokia Android Nougat smartphones and the two devices are now in testing phase. Quoting the same report, Mr. Wang said that the two reported Nokia Android smartphones and a couple of others are in the testing phase and are planned to be launched by the end of this year. However, the launch can be delayed to Q1, 2017 depending on the testing and development of these smartphones.
HMD, a new company founded by one of the former Nokia executives is said to be one designing the new Nokia devices alongside Foxconn as its partner. If you haven’t heard about the specs of the new nokia Android smartphones we have something for you.
